Lao-Korean College provided computer special intensive computer training course free of charge to eleven public officials of education and secondary school teachers of Loung Namtha Province by the Computer Program Development Center at Lao-Korean College.
Lao-Korean College selected Loung Namtha Province as a part of its plan to contribute to the development of the region by providing education in areas where educational opportunities are far away from Vientiane. These plans are going to be implemented twice a year. It will be visited once to Loung Namtha Province and people will be invited once again to college. President of Lao-Korean College, Jongbeom Lee, said "I am glad that I can make a little contribution to the development of education in the province of Loung Namtha Province through this education. I will continue to provide such full free and special computer training course in the future." On the other hand, the representative of the educated people also said, “It is difficult to be educated by environment and finance. I am very grateful for inviting us to a good environment and preparing a good education free of charge for everything from providing meals and lodging. We will also use what we have learned to teach students well."
